Description
The development of the P8R-20 Secateurs was a collaborative effort spanning multiple seasons. During the final testing phase, prototypes were distributed to 120 professionals in vineyards and vineyard management companies across Napa Valley and Sonoma County. We asked them to test the P8R-20 prototypes and provide their initial impressions.
Users appreciated the small, straight blade, the consistent feel of the spring, and the harder blade steel. The secateurs were praised for their ability to make precise cuts. Additionally, the hard steel was valued for its durability, as it did not wear down quickly after sharpening—a common issue with competitor secateurs that often necessitates more frequent blade replacements.
